Inspired by the peaks of Colorado and the deep blue green colors of 10 Mile Creek, this black walnut and resin desk embodies the mountain-house style. The 10 Mile Creek Desk was commissioned by a client living in Texas, who wanted a reminder of their Colorado vacation cabin when they couldn't be there. The desk was meticulously co-designed by Blacktail and the client. Countless slabs were video conferenced, dozens of leg designs discussed, and even a video conference to select the custom blended epoxy color. Every aspect, down to the ‘Blacktail Knot’ inlay and finish sheen was carefully selected by the client. The size of this desk is 60x30x29.”
