This stunning heirloom quality coffee table top was constructed from a single slab of Elm (Not glued together pieces as most tables this size are). The legs were also constructed from matching Elm from the same slab. All joinery was made with wooden dowels and glue, not screws or nails, to ensure it will last long enough to be handed down for generations.

Small cracks in the top were accentuated and stabilized with matching Elm bow ties from the very same tree as the table top.

I used an all natural finish popular in Europe, that is tested just as durable as polyurethane, but without that 'plastic' feel polyurethane can leave. The top is smooth as glass, but retains the amazing feel of the wood.

Shipping and Delivery:
Unless otherwise stated, ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED FLAT-PACKED, where the items will be disassembled. For tables, we install threaded inserts for ease of take-down and assembly of all legs and table bases. We will supply the corresponding bolts used to mount the legs. In almost all cases a screwdriver is all you need to assemble and shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Assembled furniture can be shipped but could be very cost-prohibitive. Our Design Process:
All items are handmade in my Portland, OR studio Using reclaimed & re-purposed woods, I create each table from scratch & make each one as if I were making it for my own home. I hand select each piece of wood for it's unique grain and character, then prep and create each item with a meticulous fabrication and finishing routine until it's perfect. Each piece is made with pride and designed to reflect its own individual character. This means that each piece will be unique and there will be slight variations from the photos.
